Verizon Wireless announces Unlimited Voice, Text and Data plans

Verizon has announced that they are going to offer new unlimited voice as well as text plans. There is something to cheer about and feel a bit bad though. The news to feel happy is that the Nationwide Unlimited Talk plan permits you to call whoever you wish to in the US for $69.99 per month.
Customers can get unlimited text and voice for $89.99 per month. While coming to the family charge plan, customers can get Unlimited Family Talk for $119.99 and Unlimited Talk and Text family plan for $149.99. Setting aside the good news for a while, the bad news here is that Verizon has followed AT&T and now requires all Smartphones to be sold with a mandatory data plan.
Users are charged with $9.99 monthly for the 25MB data plan on any Smartphone they purchase within the network. Earlier the data plan was restricted for the LG enV Touch and Samsung Rogue devices, while the $19.99 data plan for 3G phones has been discontinued. The $29.99 data package for 3G Smartphones such as Android, Windows Mobile, and Blackberry devices will continue as it is.
