ION Unveiled an iTYPE full-sized QWERTY keyboard to iPhone at CES 2010

ION popularly known for its products in consumer audio and entertainment technology, has unveiled a different peripheral at CES 2010 than their routine USB enabled turntables and tape decks. They have announced a full-sized QWERTY keyboard called ION iTYPE that is specifically designed for iPhone or iPod touch embeds the complete functionality of a desktop keyboard is in-built with a battery that turns the touchscreen handset into an ultra-portable computer.

This is pretty handy for the travelers and iPhone users who can carry this weight-saving iTYPE keyboard along with them instead of a notebook computer. “For years, travelers have wanted to find a way to get out of the office or away from home without having to carry a heavy laptop computer,” said Gregg Stein, Managing Director, ION. “iTYPE converts iPhone into the first truly complete travel-computing solution.”
