The company now introduces a new projector named the PowerLite 83V+ packed with decent features targeting students which is specifically meant for classroom oriented is embedded with 3LCD technology for better image quality and consumes 25% less power per lumen of brightness when compared with DLP chip technology.

The PowerLite 83V+ gives out 2,200 lumens of light output, supports XGA resolution and is included with a 10-watt speaker which delivers clear sound and crisp audio without the need of an external speaker that occupies more room. Additionally, the projector supports closed captioning and has RS-232c control, has a 1.2x optical zoom and +/- 30 degree vertical keystone correction. Epson’s energy-efficient E-TORL lamp delivers more lumens per watt than competitive models and lasts up to 4,000 hours, providing a lower overall cost of ownership.

The features of the PowerLite 83V+ projector include are 3LCD Technology, Flexible Communication, Advanced Connectivity, Setup Flexibility, Direct Power On and Off, Instant On/Off, A/V Mute Slide and Extended Lamp Life. The projector is available at an affordable price of $649.
