panasonicbattery sb Panasonic introduces new Safer Laptop Battery Tech

In the recent times, there are cases registered over the hazardous incidents related to the batteries of laptops that would short circuit and catch up fire causing the users of the devices injured badly. The batteries were recalled by the companies and were replaced with the new ones as compensation. But a solution is vital to stop such incidents.

Panasonic has come up with a new battery design known as 18650 to put an end to all these issues and keep the end users safe. The battery uses a metal oxide layer between the cathode and anode which acts as an insulator to prevent from overheating and catching fire if the battery short circuits. Additionally, the battery runs for more time which can store up to 3.1Ah of power.

Kudos to Panasonic for their new innovation. It is not yet known when these batteries will be shipped with laptops to make the users fear free and take the portable device along with them wherever they want.
