Yet-Unreleased Intel Core i9 chip Leaked and put for sale at eBay?

Will you buy a product which is in production stage owned by a proprietary company and someone else offers you prior to its official release? The same is the case with the Intel and eBay here. According to an unknown source, A Taiwanese eBay user claims to be selling the yet-unreleased six-core, 2.4GHz Xeon Gulftown Westmere processor in an auction for $1200, whereas the Intel is planning to ship out the same processor sometime early 2010 officially. The pictures of the processor are leaked and the Intel has no clue how did it happen. The story does not end here, the Nordic Hardware (via Tom’s Hardware) also reports that the OCTeamDenmark forums had made the device available for $850. Though Intel’s product is getting popularized before its release, this is a matter of concern for the well established company.
