Asus Eee PC 1201N available for $499.99 Amazon US pre-order

ASUS 12-inch Ion-packing Eee PC Seashell 1201N netbook is coming a bit late and up for pre-order at Amazon.com priced at $499.99 scheduled to release on January 15, 2010 than the earlier expected release in December. The 1201N will be available in black (1201N-PU17-BK) and silver (1201N-PU17-SL) colors.

The netbook is featured with an Intel Atom Dual Core N330 processor clocking 1.6GHz, NVIDIA ION Graphics, 2GB of DDR2 RAM memory with a storage expansion up to 8GB, a 250GB SATA HDD with 5,400 RPM, offers 500GB free web storage, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, 0.3MP Webcam and runs on 32-bit Windows 7 Home Premium OS.
