Google Chrome OS will be experienced by everyone first through netbooks in 2010 and the company has already bagged more number of orders from the leading netbook manufacturers. Google said in the recently held event to reveal the details about Chrome OS that the web based OS will be launched officially around November 2010.

One of the leading netbook manufacturers Acer making its move to introduce their first Chrome OS based netbook, is committed to run webapps on their netbook through Google Chrome OS and the data gets stored in the cloud as is the feature comes with new OS, according to some unnamed sources from DigiTimes. Acer chairman JT Wang has made public that his company will be the first one to release a Chrome OS based machine into the market.

Though officially the specs of the netbook have not announced by the Acer, it is clear that the Chrome based netbooks would include with SSD or flash memory storage, will run on either x86 or ARM based processors and usual USB ports for peripherals, as told in the Google’s recent launch event. The device would be available in retail stores in the second half of 2010.

The Chrome OS browser experience will be exciting and more interesting to see as all the web based applications run through the browser itself and is based on an open-source Linux kernel. The new way of working with webapps through browser is more helpful for the users who depends on browser more rather just surfing the internet, IM and email. The users would not feel hesitate to run their apps as the Chrome OS is known to be more secure and offers a stable platform.
