LG Electronics, a worldwide technology and design leader in mobile communications unveiled the new X120 netbook into the US market. Due to its 3G HSPA connection and compact, portable design, users can be connected anywhere, at any time. The Americans will get a plain LG X120 netbook instead of Levi’s special edition LG X120 which was offered for Koreans in the last July.

The 10.1-inch screen X120 is featured with an Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, 160GB internal storage, Wi-Fi, a LED backlit added with a 1.3MP webcam. But what is disappointing here is, it doesn’t run on the recently released Microsoft Windows 7 OS, instead it uses Windows XP Home. Mobile broadband connectivity is offered via the AT&T 3G mobile network.

If you feel that it is reasonable apart from the other competitive products, here you go. The LG X120 netbook will be available at Radio Shack stores for $179.99.
