Shenzhen MacBook Air replica groups 3G, removable battery at $249 price tag

The new and improved version of the Apple MacBook Air is the new offering from Shenzen Tong Men Tech Company and it has pushed ahead of Apple’s official model in some respects. However, it is short of the official Air’s style, its removable battery, integrated 3G, relative surfeit of ports and a price tag of $249 goes a long way to make up for it.

In addition, to compensate with the price this ultraportable uses netbook style components. The 12.1-inch display clone features a normal netbook specification that comes up with Intel’s 1.66GHz Atom N280, 1GB of DDR2 memory, and a 160GB hard-drive. The 3,500-3,800mAh battery is a removable one and is rated to somewhat inadequate 2.5hrs use.

The clone’s dual USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, built-in Ethernet port, a sim card slot, audio and multi-format memory card reader are the added features compared to the original Air’s specifications.
