Axiotron Modbooks 13.3-inch tablet price is dropped to $1599

The world’s only Mac-based Modbook tablet computer included with Wacom-enabled touchscreen slate allows you to draw, sketch and write straight on the screen is built and backed by the OWC (Other World Computing) which was reduced to $1599 from its earlier $2249 price. The 13.3-inch Axiotron Modbook installed with the latest Mac OS 10.6.x Snow Leopard is powered with an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.13GHz processor, Nvidia 9400M performance graphics, 2GB of memory, 160GB hard disk drive, an 8X Dual-Layer SuperDrive, Airport Extreme 802.11b/g/n wireless, Bluetooth, has in-built WAAS enabled GPS chip, built-in iSight and Axiotron Digitizer Pen. Customers can expand their Modbook up to 6GB of memory, Solid State Drives (SSD) up to 256GB and hard disk drives for up to 1.28TB (1280GB) of total internal storage.
