Kindle for PC 1 540x420 Amazon gives access to Kindle Store through free Kindle for PC Application

From now onwards, you can access the digital books and download to your notebook or desktop directly from Amazon through their “Kindle for PC” application which makes use of Amazon’s Whispersync technology. Amazon sold the e-Reader for $259 and they don’t mind giving free software to the user which in turn keeps the user in touch with their e-book database and it’s a good innovative thought to enhance their business further. There may be few readers who purchase this costly electronic textbook, but the Amazon Kindle Store sells thousands of books, newspapers, magazines and an e-subscription to The New York Times is available for $13.99 a month is good enough to pop up their profits.

The application is available for free and mainly developed to give a direct access to the Kindle Store and let the user purchase the books in which they are interested. The advantage here to the user is that, you can read the beginning of the book for free and if you like it, go for it. An e-book usually costs not more than $9.99. Available in ten different fonts added with the facility to adjust the number of words per line on your own. We tend to forget up to which page we read before going to bed or leaving for a work, this App provides you a feature which bookmarks the page where you last stopped. Those who have touch compatible computer installed with Windows 7 can use the zoom in and out feature along with finger swipe to turn the pages with ease.
