Samsung intros SyncMaster P2770HD monitor with integrated TV tuner in Korea

Samsung Electronics has unveiled a new monitor called Samsung SyncMaster P2370HD. The 27-inch monitor weighs just over 8kg, is the largest Full HD supported from Samsung and the picture-in-picture feature allows the computer users to watch TV while they are working with their PC on the same screen.

The monitor is included with a HDMI input, digital TV tuner that supports not only HDTV and also digital device. The screen of Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD Full HD monitor is a 300 cd/m2 brightness, and a response time of 5ms, has a 50000:1 contrast ratio and dynamic, 16:9 widescreen display, and has a viewing angle of 170/160 degrees (horizontal/vertical). The device is integrated with two 3W speakers along with Dolby Digital Plus technology and SRS TruSurround HD 5.1 audio supports.

Additionally the Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD LCD monitor is featured with DMI, DVI-D and VGA, optical audio, component audio, composite, video IN jacks and Audio ports. The Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD Monitor combined with HDTV Tuner will be available for $477. The monitor would ship globally in the near future.
