nxp in vehicle network NXP System unveils UJA107x SBC family of chips for In Vehicle Networks

NXP a leading semiconductors company is going to release UJA107x System Basis Chips (SBC) family of chips for in vehicle-networks which facilitates advanced features, smart performance, effective usage of power and reduce the cost by correct utilization of electronic control units will be used in applications used to automate features like climate control, seat control, electric power steering, light sensors, rain sensors, adaptive lighting.

UJA107x SBC reduces the cost by improving the quality and reliability by minimizing/reducing the complexity of electronic control units design and its arrangement. The UJA107x SBC family defined with 5 or 3.3V power supply helps them to fit in networks easily. It provides high protection with electro static discharge pulses and excellent Electro-Magnetic Compatibility which helps to work correctly on its electro-magnetic environment without effecting other devices surrounding it, increases reliability and fuel consumption and reduces carbon dioxide.

NXP set to release different types of SBCs in UJA107x SBC family compatible to pin-pin and share the same compact dark green HTSSOP32 package. The family of UJA107xSBC include , UJA1078 – a HS-CAN and dual LIN/J2602 SBC, UJA1075 – a HS-CAN and LIN/J2602 SBC, UJA1076 – a HS-CAN SBC, UJA1079 – a LIN/J2602 SBC.

Key features of the versatile NXP UJA107x SBC family include as follows: ISO 11898-2 and ISO11898-5 compliant high speed control area networks, LIN2.1, LIN2.0 and J2602 compliant local interconnect networks, scalable voltage regulator and peripherals, very low stand by current of 75UA and sleep mode current of 55UA, High protection against electro static discharge pulses, compact dark green HTSSOP32 package, very good electro magnetic compatibility performance.
