The business for mobile applications is always on and has huge demand in the market. Apple is the best example to consider who have gained massive profits with its App Store. The problem here is that, apps written by the developers for one device may not work in another because of hardware and the compatibility issues exist among various brands of Smartphones. Samsung has given freedom to operators and developers to write apps for millions of new Samsung mobile phones through its new open mobile platform, called as “Bada” which is derived from Korean word mean “Ocean” and to offer limitless applications to the end users. Samsung assures not to worry about the apps inconsistency.

Dr Hosoo Lee, Executive Vice President and Head of Media Solution Center at Samsung Electronics said, “By opening Samsung’s mobile platforms we will be able to provide rich mobile experiences on an increasing number of accessible Smartphones.” He also adds “bada will be Samsung’s landmark, iconic new platform that brings an unprecedented opportunity for operators, developers and Samsung mobile phone users around the world.”Samsung is confident that bada platform will be used by the most of the mobile operators and offers customized services to customers on their preferred networks.

The platform SDK will be coming soon through an official launch event in London in December and for more information click here. You can access their fully updated official website (www.bada.com) from November 10th onwards.
