 Saygus Vphone V1 Android powered Smartphone coming soon in early 2010

We have a seen a couple of biggies like Sony Ericsson’s XPERIA X10, LG’s Mount Etna (GW620) making their move to introduce Smartphone considering Google’s Android OS. Now another one joins in the row, Saygus company is planning to release its Android based Smartphone, Saygus VPhone V1 sometime early in 2010. It is yet to confirm which version of the Android OS runs on VPhone V1, but surprisingly the Smartphone shown with part of HTC’s Sense interface in its released pics.

Saygus VPhone V1 works on CDMA network, a 3.5-inch capacitive touch screen with 800 x 480 resolution and 4 row slide out full QWERTY keyboard which gave it a special look. The features include 5 Mega pixel camera with auto flash and focus, VGA forward facing camera, built-in microphone and speaker, Rechargeable Lithium battery with a capacity of 1500mAh which allows 250 hours of standby time, 4hrs Video-talk time, 8hrs of Music playback. It is also supported with very useful applications such as Document viewer, Browser, calculator, Email access, messenger, Image browser, Video Recording, file system explorer.

VPhone V1 special features include Two way video calling, in-built GPS, WIFI, Stereo Bluetooth A2DP, G-sensor, Digital compass, USB Mass Storage, USB charging and FM Radio. It is configured with 624MHz processor Marvell PXA 310, 512MB flash memory, 256MB of SDRAM, mass storage up to 16GB and supports audio formats such as  MP3, MIDI,, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, AAC, AAC+ and video formats such as  MPEG2, MPEG4, H.263, H.264. In addition to the above, it also has MicroSD slot which allows 16GB to 32 GB of expandable memory.
