LG Snapdragon powered Android Smartphone set to launch in Q2 2010

LG is going to give a good competition to Sony Ericsson’s XPERIA X10 through their Snapdragon powered Android Smartphone which is due to launch in the Korean market first in the second quarter of 2010. The LG ‘Mount Etna (GW620)’ is a QWERTY slider combined with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset and runs on Google Android OS. The company’s vice president of LG electronics joseongha MC claims that the device is fully matured than their LG GW620 Eve and loaded with full of specifications. He has also said “LG Telecom will launch with a different carrier, but also through the review and release”.
LG would use mobile digital TV technology which was much popular in Korea and the same may not be available in European and North American markets. But, LG is keen to bring the availability of its new Android based Smartphone to outside of Korea.
