lenovo thinkpad netbook leak 1 Lenovo ThinkPad X100e netbook will hit stores on Jan 5th 2010

According to ThinkPadToday, which claims that the much rumored ThinkPad X200e is going to drop by giving way to ThinkPad X100e. Lenovo has unveiled that their ThinkPad X100e will launch on Jan 5th 2010 added with a tagline “Entry level ultra portable, the first ThinkPad of its size”. The point to prove by Lenovo here is how it impresses the users and succeeds over its competitors, as every netbook in the market looks alike in its design and possesses almost the same specs.

The specs of the netbook are not announced officially yet, but it may be featured with an 12.1-inch WXGA 1280 x 800 panel embedded with an AMD’s Athlon 1.6GHz Neo processor with ATI Radeon HD3410 graphics or Intel’s Centrino 2 ULV 1.4GHz processor paired with GMA 4500MHD graphics, 3GB of RAM, various HDD and SSD options and optional Gobi 3G.

From the pictures leaked out it gives a hint that the Lenovo netbook had a white casing and a matte-black shell. Hope the X100e gets every one’s attention and the new year welcomes Lenovo with a great success.
