Acer Liquid A1 gets forecasted

The Acer Liquid A1 has finally been definite to be releasing soon on November 28th, according to Expansys. Besides being Acer’s first Android smartphone, it has been destined as the primary smartphone to run Google’s Android OS; it runs with a 768MHz processor, a Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD 8250 chip beneath the cover. It runs the Android 1.6 rather than 2.0, backed up with 256MB SDRAM for user applications and storage and 512MB Flash ROM for the OS. In addition to the above, it comes up with an exclusive 3.5” WVGA capacitive touchscreen at 800×480 pixels. At a size of 115×64x12.43 mm, the Liquid weighs 135 g only and has a 5 megapixels camera on the back.
It supports both the quadband GSM/SPRS/EDGE as well as triband UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA at either European version 900/1800/2100 MHz or North American version 850/1900/2100 MHz. The memory can be expanded by microSD cards and gives way to removable and replaceable 1,350 mAh Lithium Polymer battery which offers up to 5 hours talk-time in UTMS mode and 6 hours in GSM mode.
There is a small disadvantage that it lacks a D-pad or trackball in help to the touch sensitive Android typical home, search, back and menu keys. Another drawback is its lacking front-facing camera for UMTS video telephony, even though the Liquid A1 is a 3G smartphone.

The Acer will be available in white/black, red/black and black/black and also features WiFi b/g, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR as well as GPS, a digital compass, a light sensor and a G-sensor. The piece of equipment features a mini USB port for charging and connecting the device to the PC as well as a 3.5 mm stereo headset plug on the apex, where also three LED notification icons can be found. We are not certain about how swift and consistent the fresh handset is going to be, but the handset impresses us with its uplifting design that is somewhere amid a smartphone, a personal navigation device and a media player. However the Liquid A1 gives guarantee for performance and steadiness.
