It’s in the news from some time that ASUS is making its move to introduce their e-book reader and would like to compete with the Amazon’s kindle and Sony’s e-book readers who have already made their presence in the market. Some unnamed company executives have confirmed that it will include Wi-Fi, 3G and WiMax versions in their e-book reader and also said that the price is competitive to what its competitor’s offers now. According to CENS report, ASUS may reach its carrier partners in the US and Europe in the coming March 2010.

There is a rumor that ASUS would introduce two models with different sizes, while one being a 6-inch e-ink display and the other will have a larger than common 9-inch screen. They plan to run the trial of their devices with Taiwanese charities before releasing out it publicly.
