Apple TV 3.0 software upgrade to Support iTunes LP and Extras

From now onwards, the Apple TV owners have access to the newly released iTunes Store content. A new update has been added to the Apple TV in its Terms & Conditions for the iTunes Store. The update confirms that “you can now use iTunes LPs and iTunes Extras content on Apple TV with a forthcoming software version 3.0 or higher”.
To encourage sales of albums, Apple introduced its new iTunes LP format in September which is added with content like artist and band photos, videos, beautifully animated lyrics and liner notes added with bonus material. So, from now onwards you can listen to your favorite songs while enjoying the visual experience of the record album through iTunes LP. They also bring a new change in the way the film rentals can be switched between devices. Additionally it comes with another format called iTunes Extras to deliver digital movies which we commonly find in DVDs.
