BlackBerry Storm 9530 gets flick scrolling, tabbed browsing through firmware update

Lovers of touchscreen device Blackberry Storm were disappointed with the standards it maintained and with the released reviews they came to know that the Storm was one of the worst Blackberry devices ever. According to Verizon it said that the Wi-Fi was not important for 9530 because of its carrier’s blazing fast EV-DO Rev.
RIM and Verizon has brought something to cheer for the users of Storm 9530 with a firmware upgrade which will make the Storm look alike with the Storm 2 in software, and makes the Storm users feel happy with a better browsing experience to surf internet with tabbed browsing, threaded texting and flick scrolling according to a Verizon rep. The only difference we come across between these two is in its hardware, the Storm 2 9550 comes with Wi-Fi radio, sleeker design and plastic buttons, in addition with four sensors supported for SurePress typing which allows multi-touch typing backed with piezo technology that lets the screen freeze when the power is off.
But we need to wait for VZW to confirm the existence of the Storm 2 9550 before we expect a formal word on its release.
