Wireless chargers are here!

The Wireless charging revolution is here! Powermat had earlier announced at CES 2009 that they would be bringing these wireless charging devices to consumers soon and they have done exactly that.

The Powermat is a one plug pad that charges your device by the principle of magnetic induction. In addition to the pad, you have to purchase a Powermat receiver sleeve for your device that enables this magnetic induction charging to happen.

So you end up paying $100 and $ 40, respectively, for these modern tangle-free, and rather pricey, charging devices.
