It’s been a long time since we heard any rumor on Apple’s Tablet PC. Finally we got something to hear from the trusted source DigiTimes that Foxconn has secured the manufacturing order of an upcoming Apple’s Tablet PC iTablet instead of Quanta and will be released not late than by Q1 2010 with initial shipments in a range of about 300,000 to 400,000 units per quarter.

The iTablet will consists of a 10.6-inch touchscreen may possess multitouch system and the sources claim that Foxconn might secure panels from its subsidiary Innolux Display rather than WinTek. The iTablet might be concentrating more on e-book feature this time instead of music, added with long battery life, much faster internet connectivity and with a friendly user interface.

There is also a news that the HP is in a move to introduce similar kind of products a quarter after the release of iTablet i.e., in Q2 2010.
