windows 7 boot timing 540x3581 Phoenix demo speed up Windows 7 boot

Did you get fed up with the booting process of the Windows which takes long time to get your desktop on the display? Hopefully you will be relaxed when you hear that Windows 7 gets your desktop in a matter of seconds.

You might have seen Linux mini OSes which offers quick access to the internet, email and multimedia whereas you feel it is missing in the more popular Windows from Microsoft. But Phoenix Technologies which had a demo of a new BIOS at IDF 2009 is promising you with full OS within few seconds. It uses a new UEFI BIOS to give a quick access to the desktop – apparently the usable desktop in less than 10 seconds.

This feature will first appear in the high-end notebooks at a reasonable price, saves power by booting the computer start from the scratch rather than standby. So, we definitely see a good demand for this system especially for the users whose patience is out of control and cannot wait for long time with an urgency to rush to their work.
