Nintendo Wii now officially cheaper
Nintendo has confirmed the price drop in their Wii gaming consoles from $249.99 to $199.99. The cheaper priced models will be available from September 27th at Nintendo stores. There is no change as far as features is concerned and it also comes with the regular bundled system which includes a Wii remote, a Nunchuk and a Wii Sports which were bundled with the $249 priced models.
Nintendo also confirmed that they will be releasing their first multiplayer Mario game, the New Super Mario Bros. Wii on November 15th and also new Wii Fit Plus will be available from October 4th.
In Japan the new price will be ¥20,000 while in Europe it will be priced at €199.99.
