Sony A840, S740 and S640 Walkmans debut
Sony has unveiled their new Walkman Portable Media Players, the NW-A840, S740 and S640. The 7.2 mm thick and 2.8-inch A840-series comes with an OLED display and is the thinnest Walkman till date comes with a 64GB of storage. The battery lasts up to 29 hours of music playback or 9 hours of video.
Additionally, the Walkman can be hooked to your TV as well supported with 720 x 480 resolution video. It is featured with an ambient noise reduction, gives you a drag and drop option to transfer the data and is additionally added with high-end MDR-EX300SL earbuds.
The S740 and S640 possess the same video-out capabilities as of A840 except its display being the smaller 2-inch LCD displays. Few models are integrated with speakers, while few have noise-cancellation.
The NW-A840 series Walkman are going to be shipped from October 31st, while the 16GB is available for ¥24,000/$264, where as the 32 GB NW-A846 priced at ¥30,000/$330 and the NW-A847 is of 64GB storage costs ¥40,000/$440.
