Recently, Nokia have decided to officially announce the N900 along with its Maemo 5 OS which is expected to be the next major release from Nokia.  So in this regard Nokia is getting ready to get their official reveal at Nokia World next week. The N900 is powered by the ARM Cortex-A8 processor with 1GB of RAM. This product is bundled with HSPA for supporting the faster downloads,A-GPS, WiFi connectivity and 32GB of storage into a touchscreen device.

The 3.5 inch resistive touchscreen is same as the Nokia N97.  Coming to Maemo 5 it supports desktop-style multitasking, Nokia Messaging and also the new exciting “cloud” UI. N900 has a slide out QWERTY keyboard and built in with OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics acceleration, full Adobe Flash 9.4 support,GPS geotagging and a 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics. A microSD card slot is also provided with the help of which you can increase on-board storage to 48GB.

Nokia estimates the cost to be around €500 ($712), and this gets finalized as soon as it gets in the market most probably from October 2009.
