Rumor: Apple developing 10, 13 and 15-inch Tablet PCs, To run on Mac OS X
Rumors are floating around that Apple will be releasing their Tablet PCs in three different sizes. A reliable source to Gizmodo has tipped that Apple is developing not just the 10-inch size tablets but also developing higher size models in 13-inch and 15-inch tablets. Not just that, one of those tablet models will be running on Mac OS X 10.5.
According to Gizmodo’s source, he has seen two touchscreen prototypes made of Aluminium which had a shape of big iPhones were being developed at a factory in Shenzuen, China. One among the two was running on Mac OS X 10.5. Gizmodo’s source was not clear whether these prototypes were for display purpose or were going into production.
It looks like Apple might use iPhone OS in the two lower size models while OS X 10.5 in the higher 15-inch model. Still we should consider this news as rumor till Apple officially confirms the news.
