canondrm2510m Canon Reveals Mac Compatible Scanners for Office and Home users

Canon has revealed couple of scanners, its first Mac-OS compatible scanners for business and also for home users named the imageFormula DR-2510M and DR-2010M mainly purposed for high-speed document scanning. Both the scanners comes with built in Mac compatible OCR software. These scanners can also be used for educational purposes as well.

The most noticeable feature in these scanners is its their ability to allow one-touch scanning directly to email, printers, network folders, and applications that can send images to the iPhone. These scanners utilize a driver called Mac TWAIN and have been provided with CaptureOnTouch, one-touch scanning software for Mac systems.

The major difference between these two scanners is, the 2510M can scan pages at 25-ppm simplex and 50 images per minute in duplex mode whereas the 2010m scans at 20 ppm in simplex mode and 40 ipm in duplex mode with an image scanning at 600 dpi.

The 2510M priced at $795 and the 2010M is priced at $555 are available to order now.
