Acer debuts new Veriton all-in-one desktop PC

Acer has announced a new product in their line of Veriton named as the Acer Veriton Z280G-EA271CP an all-in-one P.C. This is engineered to deliver energy-efficient performance in a picture-perfect design. It consists of an 18.5-inch LCD that measures only 19” x 15” x 2.14” which makes it very compact. The screen is designed to have a resolution of 1366 x 768 with 16:9 Aspect Ratio at 1000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio, all this with just 5ms Response Time. The system adopts Windows XP, and with integrated speakers along with a matching keyboard and mouse.
Coming to its technical part, this product is being powered with an Intel Atom N270 (1.60GHz, 512KB Cache, L2, 533MHz FSB) ultra-low-voltage processor and fan-less operation, together with Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 and is cool, quiet and Energy Star qualified. This has a 2GB Memory, 160GB Hard Drive(2), SuperMulti Drive. The connectivity includes Five USB 2.0 Ports, Gigabit LAN and WiFi 802.11 b/g WLAN and a Multi-in-One Card Reader. The Multi-in-1 Digital Media Card Reader allows the users to quickly transfer presentations and other documents from one PC to another and the Super Multi Double-Layer drive enables the user to quickly load the software with ease.
The Acer Veriton Z280G-EA271CP all-in-one desktop PC is made available in North America via Acer’s authorized resellers the price beginning at $499 only.
