Canon unveils new wide format printer for office use

If you are among the people who want some large format document printed, here comes Canon which fulfills your requirement. This type of printer is best suitable for office use. Canon has unveiled its brand new printer called iX7000, which is able to handle paper up to 11″ x 17″ or 13″ x 19″ format size. Another important feature of this printer is the ink used in this system is clear and also has 5 pigment reservoirs used to color the clear ink for printing.

Canon claims that such a clear ink and pigment system does not wrinkle or over saturate the document. This device has Ethernet connectivity, and a 3 way paper feed which adds to the above mentioned features. The performance of the printer can be figured as it can print color documents at 8.1 pages a minute and the black and white documents at 10.2 pages per minute. The printer will be sold for $399.99 as soon as Canon launches it.
