Hannspree has now decided to concentrate more on netbooks for the US market. They were previously concentrating only on displays in the US. But with the increase in demand for netbooks in the recent times has led Hannspree to launch its first notebook HannsNote in the US.

HannsNote is a 10-inch netbook and is similar in specs to MSI’s 10-inch Wind. HannsNote features 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 Processor, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, 1.3-megapixel webcam, memory card reader, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and comes pre-loaded with Windows XP OS. The six-cell battery gives a backup of upto five hours.

HannsNote was already launched in Europe way back in May. It will be available from today onwards in US in black and white colors and comes at a price of $379.99.
