Epson reveals Workforce 610, 1100 All-in-One Wi-Fi Printers

Epson, the leader in the Ink Jet market has added a brand new WorkForce line of printers named WorkForce 610 and WorkForce 1100 equipped with Wi-Fi, wired networking, USB 2.0 and meet the Energy Star standards which are eco-friendly and saves the power. These two models are powered with PC Fax capabilities and the construction of the device is designed to be recyclable.
The WorkForce 610 is a four-color All-in-One printer specially intended for small businesses and home offices provided with a 2.5-inch LCD screen which can tilt along with an automatic document feeder(ADF).It offers print, scan, copy and faxing capabilities.This is an efficient printer which prints 38-pages a minute for grayscale and laser quality at 15 pages a minute for black content and 9.3 ppm for color.This device comes with a built-in Auto Photo Correction feature operated from its front control panel and can print photos directly from a camera’s memory card.

On the other hand the four-color wide-format printer,WorkForce 1100 saves the ink though it prints with lower speed with a resolution of 5,760 by 1,440 dots per inch (dpi).It has a capability to print at speeds of up to 30 pages per minute grayscale and 17 pages per minute in color, can handle many different standard sized documents, index cards, brochures and more.The laser quality speeds to 13 pages per minute in grayscale and 5.5 pages per minute in color.This device has mainly targeted the users who wish to print large-format documents.
These two models are available for pre-order through Amazon.com and BestBuy.com. WorkForce 610 model is expected to be released in the month of August priced at $199.99 and WorkForce 1100 model is planned to release in the month of September for the same price as above.

It does look pretty cool. I have a wireless Lexmark at the mo and a HP on its way out. The lex has endeared me to wireless printing but I don’t really like that I can only get the ink at PC World, so if the Epson ink is more widely available I might go for that as a replacement for my old H Packard?
