Sony S-Series Walkman Media Players Leaked

Sony’s new S-series walkman PMPs is listed on a French online retailer material.net even though it has not been officially released. The website lists two models of S-series, the 8GB Sony NWZ-S544 and the 16GB NWZ-S545. Both the models features 320 x 240 resolution 2.4-inch QVGA LCD display with 16:9 aspect ratio along with a built-in stereo speakers on the front side of the PMPs.

They also comes with a built-in microphone, FM radio with 30 presets, audio support for mp3, WMA, and AAC, video support for H264/AVC, MP4 and WMV which can be played at 30 fps and are compatible with iTunes and Windows Media Player. The battery gives a 42hrs music playback or 6.5hrs video playback with a single recharge.

Unfortunately the S-series PMPs does not feature WiFi, internet access or YouTube playback but comes at a relatively cheaper price with price starting at €129 ($183) for the 8GB model.
