Astak announced 5-Inch Pocket PRO eBook Reader

Astak unveiled their new 5-inch Pocket PRO eBook Reader in six different colors on Friday. It weights 170g, consists of an Epson controller and 400MHz processor and supports more than 20 formats because of its Adobe Digital Editions firmware installed in it with an official permission form Adobe. This allows users to read DRM supported PDF files, non-copyrighted eBooks available on the internet, along with the public domain books and copy-righted PDFs. It comprises of a 512 MB of storage, 16 GB of storage can be added with a SDHC card reader.

With a single battery you can read upto 8,000 pages while listening to MP3 audio at background. Additionally it features a text-to-speech facility which can read the documents aloud, no eyestrain with 8-levels of grayscale E-Ink screen and the pages can be viewed in different font sizes.
