Time Warner Cable to launch WiMAX in 2010 in Charlotte and Dallas

Time Warner revealed that they are planning to launch the mobile WiMAX in two of the four US cities, Dallas and Charlotte,specially intended to customers who are willing to move towards wireless from VoIP services. Alike Comcast, Time Warner Cable has invested in Clearwire’s mobile WiMax network and plans to resell the mobile broadband by the end of the year. On the other side, the cable competitor Comcast is in advance which have already opened its WiMAX shop in Portland, Oregon and plans to launch in Atlanta, Chicago and Philadelphia by year end.

Though the prices are not known yet, it is expected that it will be more than the current $20 to $50 monthly fees. If you are very much interested towards 4G wireless, start saving your pocket money from now.
