Walmart announces an affordable $298 Compaq Notebook

Good news for all who wants to buy a notebook at the possible lowest price. Walmart addresses your wish for a notebook with Compaq Presario CQ60-419WM notebook priced at just $298. It is available for customers from july 26th onwards in the retail market, but one drawback with this product is that you cannot make much gaming on it.

This economical notebook is powered with 2.1-GHz AMD Sempron SI-42 CPU and a pre-loaded with Microsoft Vista Home Basic OS and also enabled with NVIDIA GeForce 8200 mGPU. It is provided with 3GB RAM,160GB Hard Drive which supports a speed of 5,400 rpm and CD/DVD optical drive. Added to this it has 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi wireless connectivity. Last but not the least, it comes with 15.6-inch LCD display supporting a resolution of 1366×768 pixel.

In addition to the above spec, it is even provided with 3 USB ports, 6-battery cell, headphone and microphone, modem & Ethernet along with VGA support.
