LG’s first Android smartphone to be named GW620 Eve
According to NieuweMobiel.NL, LG will be releasing their Android powered handset very soon. LG has previously
announced at CommunicAsia tradeshow earlier this year that they will be releasing three Android based smartphones in 2009. The first LG model to power Android OS will be GW 620 Eve.
The GW 620 Eve will be a full QWERTY smartphone with a half VGA 320 x 480 pixel display which is assumed to be touchscreen with SyncML support along with support for WiFi, WLAN, UMTS/HSDPA 3G and GPRS connectivity. The main source for these specs was the XML file on the LG website.
LG has not officially announced details on their Android handset and also the details on the XML file are pretty scarce. So we still have to wait for some more days till we get complete info on this handset.
