ASUS announces U50VG, K50AB, K50IJ, K70AB and F52Q notebooks

Today ASUS has unveiled five new notebooks in Italy: the U50VG, K50AB, K70AB, K50IJ and F52Q. All of them has some exiting specs with the screen size ranging from 15.6-inches to 17.3-inches and they are powered with Intel and AMD processors.

U50VG-XX060C is the most interesting one and features a 15-6-inch displaywith 1366 x 768 resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio, 2.1GHz Core 2 Duo T6500 CPU, a 4GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce G 105M 512MB graphics and a 250GB of hard disk storage. It also includes a 1.3-megapixel camera, HDMI port, WiFi b/g/n and a backlit chiclet keyboard. It will be priced at €943.20 including tax ($1,320) in Italy.

Next in the line are the K50-series with the same 15.6-inch display while the K50AB getting 2.3GHz AMD Turion 64X2 Ultra ZM-84, 4GB of RAM and 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD4570 graphics chip; and K50IJ has got 2GHz Intel Pentium dual-core T4200, 4GB of RAM and Intel GMA X4500HD GPU with a shared memory. The K50AB is priced at €793.20 ($1,110) while the K50IJ will be priced at €628.80 ($880) inclusive of taxes.

Then comes the ASUS F52Q-SX071E which is a also a 15.6-inch notebook and features 2GHz Pentium dual-core T3200 processor, 2GB of RAM and a GL40 graphics chipset. by default you get Windows Vista pre-installed in it but if you don’t like Vista then it can be downgraded to Windows XP. It will be priced at €643.20 ($898).

Finally ASUS has got two new notebooks in K70-series: the K70AB-TY002C and K70AB-TY001C. Both of them have 1,600 x 900 resolution 17.3-inch LED display and uses AMD processors with K70AB-TY002C  getting 2.2GHz AMD Turion 64X2 RM 74 processor and K70AB-TY001C getting 2.3 GHz AMD Turion 64X2 Ultra ZM-84 processor. They also have the same 4GB of DDR2 RAM and a 512MB of ATI Mobility Radeon HD4570 among the other specs. As of the pricing K70AB-TY002C will be sold at €793.20 ($1,107) while K70AB-TY001C will be sold at €868.80 ($1,215).
