Three new models for ASUS Eee PC T91 confirmed: The single-touch basic T91, multitouch T91A and 3G-enabled T91GO
ASUS has confirmed that they will be releasing three new models to its much awaited Eee PC T91 ultraportables. The basic T91 will have a single-touch screen while the T91A will have multitouch features. The T91GO will have 3G, GPS and a digital TV features. The did not give complete info whether T91GO will also boast multitouch feature or there may be another version which ASUS did not confirm T91Ago which may have both 3G as well as multi touch features.
As for the specs, the basic T91 model will have 8.9-inch LED Backlight single-touch screen display with 1024 x 600 WSVGA resolution, 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor, 1Gb/2Gb DDR2 RAM, dual 16GB SSD along with 16GB SD Card, free 20Gb online storage for 18 months, Bluetooth, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, built-in 0.3 Megapixel camera and HD stereo speakers. The battery gives 5.4 hours backup in runtime and it will come loaded with Windows XP Home. The whole thing weighs just 0.96 kg.
Coming to ASUS Eee PC T91A, it has the same features as the basic T91 model apart from the 8.9-inch LED multitouch display. Here the operating system is upgraded to Windows 7.
The ASUS Eee PC T91Go will have all the basic features of the standard T91 model apart from 3G module, GPS and Digital TV Tuner. It weighs 1.02Kgs and comes loaded with Windows XP Home.
Unfortunately there is no info on the pricing and availability of all the three models.
