Samsung MBP200 mini projector and PMP Hybrid now available in Europe

Last showcased in CES 2009 way back in January, this PMP cum DLP projector hybrid, MBP200 from Samsung is now available for sale in Germany. The projector box size is 110 x 49 x 19mm and it is capable of projecting up to a 50-inch 480 x 320 image of pictures and videos supporting MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DivX, Xvid and WMV9 Simple Profile.

It features a 2.2-inch LCD display, DMB TV tuner, video and MP3 playback. You can also connect it to another video source with a video input socket and can listen to the audio using a 3.5mm headphone jack and a small built-in speaker. It supports 16GB cards on the microSD slot in addition to the onboard storage. The whole thing weighs just 140g so you can carry it easily along with your other gadgets.

It is right now available in Germany with the manufacturer’s retail sales price(MRSP) of €499 ($695).
