Nokia upgrades Ovi Maps

Nokia has updated its Ovi Maps version from beta labs which includes 3-D views, weather information, walking directions and other smart features in it. The general release is only for the Windows OS. Yous have to download the Map Updater app for this OS. It is able for mobile user to wirelessly sync with desktop version of the mapping service. It offers high resolution maps in 2-D and 3-D and user can see and tilt landmarks as well as view flyovers, night views.

It will allow you to check you current position by local searches, you can plan your way either on your laptop or Nokia smartphone for the car or on foot. One more ultimate feature is, when you are on the move in a vehicle, you can get turn by turn, voice guided navigation by built-in sat-nav tools. Ovi 3.0 is free program and compatible with Symbian S60 3rd edition feature Pack 1 and Pack 2 and S60 5th edition operating systems.You need to download and install Maps Updater and Map Loader to your PC from here
