Toshiba TG01 gets Orange in UK

After Palm Pre got by O2 yesterday, Toshiba’s new smartphone TG01 goes to Orange in UK today. This smartphone is set to launch in an event, at London on 9th of July. This smartphone is already has been seen in some selected Japan markets and now it will be very soon in UK.

This smartphone is world’s first and and only Snapdragon featured from Qualcomm which combined 1GHz processor, large touchscreen display about 4.1-inch with WVGA 800 x 480 resolution. In addition it offers better connectivity like 3G UMTS/HSPA, Wi-Fi and GPS receiver.

The TG01 is also capable to update the upcoming Windows Mobile 6.5 as soon as this fall which makes this smartphone more unique and ultimate from others. It’s not too much bad that Orange lost Palm Pre as well as iPhone 3GS, it has HTC Hero and now TG01 that’s good enough to be in the market with strong position after all TG01 is first Snapdragon smartphone.

But pricing details, we don’t have that will be available in next week but in Germany, O2 has listed this device with 150 Euros with two year contract and for 500 Euros SIM-Free so guys now any guess here????
