HTC Ozone gets Verizon Wireless

HTC has announced today that its new smartphone HTC Ozone is coming to Verizon Wireless. The Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard smartphone gets a simple design with lots of connectivity that includes audible turn-by-turn directions to more than 15 million points and some useful option to search directions with others using VZ Navigator.

HTC Ozone is offering a full QWERTY keyboard and a 1500mAh battery to extend your talk time and a very nice global charging adapters to stay in touch when you are going outside. It also features some Verizon services like Visual Voice Mail, Mobile IM with support of AOL Instant Messenger along with Windows Messenger and Yahoo Messenger. Other highlights are BlueTooth, 2-megapixel camera along with microSD card slot for expansion.

In color it is available in Black and will be got for $49.99 after a $70 mail-in-rebate with a two year agreement. It can be grabbed online as well as some business sales channels from June 29th and in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores from July 13.
