HP unveils new Slimline, Pavilion, Elite and Compaq Presario Desktop PCs
HP has added some new additions to their current line of Slimline, Elite, Pavilion and Compaq Presario desktop PCs. The new models announced are HP Pavilion Slimline s5000 series, HP Pavilion p6000 series, HP Pavilion Elite e9000 series and Compaq Presario CQ5000 series desktop PCs. They have also announced updated to their MediaSmart server and also mentioned that these PCs are eligible for Windows 7 upgrade when it is released this fall.

In HP Pavilion Slimline s5000 PCs, the basic model features a single core AMD Athlon LE1660 processor, 2GB of DDR2 memory and 320GB hard drive while the higher end model features Intel Pentium Dual Core E5300 processor, 4GB DDR3 memory and a 500GB hard drive. They also come with 6-in one memory card reader and have option for blu-ray drive. The basic model is priced at $289.99 while the higher end is priced at $449.99.
Coming to Pavilion p6000 desktop PCs, the basic model comes with AMD Sempron Single Core LE1300 processor, 2GB DDR2 memory and a 320GB hard drive, while the higher end model features Intel Pentium Dual Core E5300 processor, 4GB DDR3 memory, 500GB hard drive and a 15-in-1 memory card reader. The basic model is priced at $269.99 while the higher end model is priced at $449.99.
The specs of HP Pavilion Elite e9000 series PCs is relatively higher from the above two models. The basic model comes with AMD Phenom II X2 545 Dual Core processor, 512MB NVIDIA GeForce G210 graphics card, 4GB DDR3 memory and a 500GB hard drive. The higher end model features the powerful Intel Core i7-920 processor, 1GB ATI Radeon HD 4650 graphics card, 6GB DDR3 memory and a 750GB hard drive. The basic model is priced at $599.99 while the higher end model is priced at $899.99.
Finally the Compaq Presario CQ5110F Desktop PC is packed with 2.5GHz AMD Athlon X2 7550 Dual-Core Processor, Nvidia GeForce 6150 SE graphics chip with 128MB integrated shared graphics memory, a 3GB PC2 6400 DDR2 SDRAM and a 320GB SATA hard drive. The Presario CQ5110F Desktop PC is priced at $379.99.
