Shuttle announces X50 Barebone All-in-one PC
Shuttle have announced a new version of X50 Barebone All-in-one PC where users gets an option to choose their own memory and hard disk space while buying. The original X50 all-in-one PC was announced way back in March.
The Shuttle X50 Barebone Nettop will come with 15.6″ touchscreen LCD display with 1366×768 resolution and is powered with 1.6GHz Intel Atom 330 Dual Core processor. The X50 Barebone does not come with RAM and hard disk but gives user to choose the memory between 512MB to 2GB of DDR2 RAM and hard disk options from 80GB SATA hard disk to a high capacity SSD drive.
It also features a GMA 950 integrated graphics accelerator, gigabit ethernet, WiFi b/g/n, VGA output, five USB 2.0 ports, audio in/out and a 4-in-1 multi format memory card reader. The system comes without any operating system but is compatible with Windows XP and Vista which can be installed through network connection or a USB drive.
The Shuttle X50 Barebone is priced at €361 ($499) and will start shipping by the end of this month. It will be available in white and black colors.
