Lenevo unveils T400s ultrathin notebook
Lenevo has announced a new ultrathin and ultraportable notebook in its ‘T’ line-up by releasing a new business oriented laptop T400s. A very very new laptop that offering a 14.1″ WXGA+LED backlit screen and the weigh is less than 20% of its predecessor T400, 1.75kg (3.9 pounds) only with height of 21.1mm.
It also features some additional functionality like Esc key became large and some shortcut buttons has changed to minimize the typing errors e.g. Volume and ThinkVantage buttons. Other specifications are that it has been combined with Intel SP9400/SP9600 (2.4/2.53GHz) processor, 2GB of RAM, 5-in-1 media card reader, webcam, Intel Integrated Graphics 4500MHD, 1GB Ethernet, fingerprint along with 120GB 5400 RPM HDD with SSD as an option.
David Critchley, a marketing manager for Lenovo said that Lenovo will offer Windows 7 on the T400s and its other laptops as soon as possible after releasing operating system. Going forward ThinkPad lineup, Lenovo may release a successor to the ThinkPad X300 using a lower-voltage CULV processor from Intel to cut heat and energy usage, said Franciso Carias, worldwide product marketing manager for ThinkPads. Even he stated “We’re planing to add multi-touch screen into future Thinkpads and will release a slim model of its T500 with 15-inch OLED screen if demand is there.” Lenovo is also thinking about adding a multi-touch screen to future ThinkPads, and will consider releasing a slim model of its T500 with 15-inch OLED screen “if demand is there,”.
For pricing, you have to spend only $1,599 and will be available immediately. You can purchase by company’s official website as well as business partners too.
