Seagate announces 640GB FreeAgent Go External Hard Drives

Seagate has announced one of the first external hard disk drives to exceed 500GB. The hard disk is 640GB 2.5″ drive and will be shipped with Seagate’s ever popular FreeAgent series and is named as 640GB FreeAgent Go. The FreeAgent Go hard disks are already available in the market with lower capacities in 250GB, 320GB and 500GB. Unlike its lower capacity models which are available in many colors, the 640GB capacity hard disk will be available in only two colors – titanium silver and tuxedo black for now. It has features almost the same as other external drives. Apart from that the 640GB hard disk will have support for Seagate docking station.

Right now there is no information of when these 640GB FreeAgent Go hard disk models will be available and neither its price.
