Dell is planning to add a new portable laptop to its line of Vostro portable computer systems. In this line up a new ultraportable Vostro 1220 is being expected to join the Vostro family. The 1220 will be delivering performance for business users mainly. The 1220 is offering 12-inch LCD screen ( 1280 x 800 pixels), Windows Vista Business or Ubuntu along with a processor of 2.1GHz Core 2 Duo T6750, 4GB of RAM, 320GB of hard drive, DVD R/W and GMA integrated graphics.

In spite of that it also includes ExpressCard slot, fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and D-Sub output. So Dell is ready to take on market by this 1220 ultraportable notebook but we’re still waiting for pricing and availability officially so hold on your notebook purchasing plans.
