138 Samsung Omnia II gets Verizon

Finally Samsung Omnia II is being combined to Verizon. Today they unveiled the Samsung Omnia II, a Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional handset with largest display. At an event on Monday in Manhattan Samsung announced this most awaited news that it will be coming to Verizon later this year. It’s using a very wide and large 3.7-inch 800 x 480 AMOLED touchscreen with WVGA resolution.

The smartphone is also using Touchwiz 2.0 that is new version of Samsung’s internally developed interface used to support a new 3D cube interface for quickly reaching certain apps and media features. Its browser also included to supercede Internet Explorer. It can both record and play back 480p video from its 5-megapixel camera without loosing detail on screen.

User can also download content quickly with high speed internet and Wi-Fi and store it on its 48GB of internal memory. A small quick look of its features here:
